Privacy Policy

Little Explorers is an offline learning game for young children, published under the Vanguard Games name. This policy covers the Android game, including its test builds. Our website privacy notice separately explains website visits and enquiries.

Information on your device

The game stores an optional profile nickname, game progress, difficulty and sound/display preferences, activity results, and pictures created in creative activities. These help players continue their adventures. A real name, email address or birthday is not required; a nickname or made-up explorer name is enough.

Player profiles, progress and artwork stay in the app’s private storage on the device. The game does not transmit these records to Vanguard Games. It has no online player accounts, advertising, analytics, chat, subscriptions or in-app purchases in the current build.

Permissions and services

The current Android build requests no permissions and does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, location or device photo library. Narration and artwork are bundled with the game. AI services used to prepare assets during development do not receive player information during gameplay.

Your choices and deletion

Grown-ups can reset progress or delete a profile through the game’s settings and profile controls. Profile deletion removes the profile’s saved files and recovery copies. Uninstalling the Android app removes its app-private data. Android app backup is disabled in the current build, and Vanguard Games does not operate an online backup of player records.

Progress is not automatically transferred to another device. A test build with a different application ID also has separate storage. We cannot restore lost local progress from a central player database.

Google Play

If you download or buy the game through Google Play, Google handles its store services under Google’s Privacy Policy. Vanguard Games does not receive payment-card details. Store transaction, installation and other reporting information made available to the publisher by Google Play is separate from data transmitted by the game.

Support and privacy enquiries

Contact support@vanguardgames.co.nz for support or privacy questions. If you email us, we receive your email address and the message you choose to send, and use them to respond and follow up on your request. Please avoid sending children’s names, photographs or other identifying information.

Support correspondence is kept while needed to deal with the enquiry and related follow-up. You can ask for access, correction or deletion of the information you supplied. Some records may remain in service-provider backups or where retention is required by law.

We will update this page if the game’s information practices change. The date above identifies this version.
